How do I get started?

If you are the business owner who would like to sell his business, please follow these instructions:
  1. Browse through the web catalogue to find the appropriate category in which you would like to add your business advertisement;
  2. Fill up the registration form;
  3. A confirmation email will then be sent to your email address. This will contain your username/password and verification link
  4. Activate your account by clicking on that verification link in your confirmation email
  5. Login to your profile and create your advertisement ;
  6. After you finish and click submit, we will then redirect you to our payment section where you can choose your payment plan;
  7. Upon receiving your payment, your advertisement will be listed on our site instantly.
Can I have a test account?

Yes. We currently provide a FREE 7-day Trial account which includes all the features of the standard paid account. This includes:
  • You will have a complete power over the look of your advertisement.
  • You can freely choose the category where you want the advertisement to appear.
  • After the trial period finishes, system will put the advertisement on hold.
  • You can upgrade at any time to any of the package.

What's the difference between Standard listing and Featured Ad?

Standard listing:
Your advertisements will be displayed in the main section of catalogue and in "Related category" increasing the number of impressions and potential clicks. Please note that you can change the desired category at any time.

Featured Ad:
If you go with the Featured Ad listing, your advertisement will be displayed in the main section of catalogue, in "Related category" and on each page right section - "Recommended Links ", meaning more people will see your advertisement.

What is the difference between Individual and Organizational subscription?

There's no big difference in the services or payment structure between Individual and Business accounts. The only difference between a Business and an Individual Account with us is the Payee Name you provide us with when you submit your payment information to us. If you hold an account with us as an organisation, we would suggest that you submit your payment information in your company name. Alternatively, if you are an individual advertising on the site, we suggest that you submit your own name as the Payee Name on the account.

Can I subscribe to more than 1 month?

At the moment we limit the maximum length of advertisement to one month. If we see more requests in future we may extend the time length of running the advertisement. Once this is going to happen, you will be notified via email prior to the change.

Do I have to open a new account if I want to create additional business listing?

No. You can add multiple listings under one account.

Can I post an article?

At the moment articles can only be posted by the site administrator, but if you came across interesting article which can be interesting for our readers, please let us know about it by emailing the article to support@site4business.com. Or you may just send us a link on the site where this article is. Please make sure the article fits one of the categories listed here.

What is RSS?

RSS feeds allow you to easily stay informed by retrieving summaries of the latest content straight to your desktop.
You can monitor news, blogs, articles, job listings, personals, and classifieds. Once you have your Feed Reader ready, it is a matter of finding sites that syndicate content and adding their RSS feed to the list of feeds your Feed Reader checks. Many sites display a small icon with the acronyms RSS, XML, or RDF to let you know a feed is available.
However, if you click one of these links, you will most likely get a page full of code in your browser.
To properly read that feed, you need to add the URL of the page with XML code into your RSS reader.

How can I pay for your service?

There are different ways how you can pay for placing business advertisement with us. We accept major credit cards through the Site4business merchant account on paypal.com and 2checkout.com . Paypal and 2CO accepts customer orders via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Dinners, JCB and debit cards with the Visa and MasterCard logo.
How does it work?
1. Once we receive the request to add the business listing together with your payment we then process your order and approve your business listing to be displayed in our catalogue.
2. We then send you confirmation email saying that your advertisement is now approved and you can take different actions: preview the advertisement, edit, modify, add another advertisement or remove it completely.

At the moment we are working on setting up wire transfer payment method. You may want to check the availability of this option in later time.

Do you handle transactions between seller and buyer?

Site4business is only responsible for providing a media where potential buyers can find the business which they may purchase. We do not neither regulate the negotiations between two parties nor we handle the transactions. If you need the help of third party entity to control the terms of the deal, you should consider hiring a financial broker.

Do you accept checks?

We are not accepting checks at the moment, but you may want to check the availability of this option at later time.

I can't activate my account (Didn't receive verification email)

If you haven't received your verification code, please follow the steps below:

1. Make sure you have specified the right email address during the registration process;
2. Please check your Spam or Bulk Mail folders in your email account to see if the email is there.
3.
If you're still unable to find the verification email, please add www-data@site4business.com to your email program's address book or your filter's white list. Than open in a new browser http://www.site4business.com and request verification email once again.
4. Please note that verification link time is active within 24 hours.

If after performing these steps you still haven't received the verification email, please contact us with a detailed description of the problem.

To request to have verification email to be resent, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the home page at http://www.site4business.com
2. Click on ''Lost Your Password''.
3. Enter your login name.
4. Click 'Send.'
5. Check your email account.

When you receive the email, just click on the link to automatically verify your email address. Once your account is verified you can proceed with adding an advertisement for your business.

I forgot my login name

If you forgot your login name please write us at support@site4business.com with detailed description of the problem.

I forgot my password

If you forgot your password but remember your login name please follow the instruction below:

1. Go to http://www.site4business.com
2. Click on the link ''Lost your password?'' located on the left side of the page under the Member Login label
3. Enter your login name
4. Check your email account to receive a new password and instructions on how to change the password in future

If none of these helped and you still can't sign-in please contact us at support@site4business.com with detailed description of the problem.

My advertisement disappeared

The reason why your advertisement disappeared from the catalogue can be that your subscription time has expired. We encourage you to create reminder so you can be notified once the deadline is approaching. If you missed the deadline and your advertisement disappeared - don't worry, just click on link ''change'' in your User home page and submit a new request.

Comments are not appearing

At the moment we save the right to moderate user comments.

I can't find the category for my business

If you are not able to find the category where to place the advertisement for your business- please click on the link: ''RECOMMEND A CATEGORY''
You will be able to pass your suggestion for creating a new category and a subcategory. Once our marketing team approves your request, you will be notified via email address that the category is now being created. Please, make sure you check the names of all categories before writing to us.

I can't upload the image for my advertisement

If you are not able to upload image for your advertisement, please first make sure the image is of the correct format. We only allow images with .jpg extension. If your image is in .gif or any other format please use the available software to change the format of the image to jpg. Also please keep in mind that the maximum size of the image should not exceed 500 kb!

How can I cancel my subscription?

There might be different reasons why you would like to cancel your account. If you have found the buyer for your business and you wish no longer receive inquiring emails - please email to support@site4business.com and we will remove your data from our database immediately. In case of other reason for cancellation we would like you to email to support@site4business.com providing the reason for cancelling your account so we can improve our service.

At current time we offer link exchange with interested parties. If you are interested in placing link on our site and have a link to your site please get in touch with us.

Someone posted negative comments that effects the reputation of my business

We try to protect the interests of business owners and we understand that inappropriate comments may ruin business reputation. However we are not in the position to be a mediator and we still want people to know once someone had a bad experience with that particular online business. Please note that we will not publish comments containing profanity or other illegal content. If author of the advertisement is not happy with the comment - we suggest addressing the concern directly to the author of that comment.
